Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM EST
Hours: 40 hours per week (5×8-hour shifts)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a Level I Trauma Center in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of CT experience, prior Level I Trauma Center experience, and strong patient care and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders before performing examinations.
• Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Prepare and educate patients about imaging procedures.
• Perform IV insertion and administer contrast as required.
• Ensure proper patient positioning, safe handling, and comfort during examinations.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in Epic.
• Submit and manage imaging studies through PACS.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized scanning environment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
• Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center is required.
• Active New York State (NYS) Radiologic Technologist license required before the start date.
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required.
• AHA BLS certification required; AHA certification only.
• Telemetry experience required.
• Injection therapy certification must be listed on the NYS license at submission. Candidates without this certification must be willing to complete it during orientation.
• Philips and Siemens equipment experience preferred.

Schedule & On-Call Requirements

• Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM EST.
• 40 hours per week.
• On-call and callback responsibilities required.
• Availability for holidays and occasional weekends is required.
