Description

Surgical Technologist – Operating Room (OR)

Position Overview

Department: Operating Room (OR)
OR Facilities: 2 Operating Rooms and 1 Procedure Room
Shift: 4 × 10-hour shifts
Schedule: 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience
Scrub Color: Provided by the hospital

Required Qualifications & Certifications

Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience.
BLS certification required.
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
Orthopedic surgery experience required.
Endoscopy experience required.
Sterile Processing Department (SPD) experience is a plus due to occasional on-call responsibilities.
First-time travelers are welcome if they meet the required experience criteria.

Surgical Services & Case Types

The OR team supports a variety of surgical specialties, primarily involving adult patients.

Common cases include:

General Surgery
Orthopedics
Podiatry
Urology
Obstetrics (OB) and C-sections
Gynecology (GYN)
