Description

Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – PICU

Ochsner Medical Center – New Orleans, LA

Start Date: 11/23/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 3x12s (6:45 AM–7:15 PM)

Requirements:

2+ years of respiratory therapy experience
CRT/RRT, AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS
NRP and Louisiana or compact license in hand at submission
Experience with PICU, pediatrics, and adult patients
Epic experience preferred
First-time travelers accepted; no new grads
Must live more than 65 miles from the facility
Must be available to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods
COVID-19 and flu vaccines required; medical/religious exemptions only

No call required. Weekend coverage based on unit needs. RTO must be listed on your profile and discussed during the interview.

Travelers must also be comfortable participating in the facility’s emergency response team if needed.
