Job Summary – Emergency Department (ED) RN
Facility: Merrimack Health Lawrence Hospital
Location: Lawrence, Massachusetts
1. Job Details
- Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week (12 × 4)
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week; 36-hour guarantee may also be accepted.
- Contract Duration: 91 weeks listed — confirm with the agency, as this is unusually long for a travel assignment.
- Orientation Date: November 10 (year not specified in the posting)
- Local Candidates: Accepted; candidates living within 50 miles are subject to the local rate.
- Facility Capacity: 41 private exam beds, a 7-bed accelerated care/fast-track unit, and 35 hall beds.
- Average ED Census: 75 patients.
2. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience
- Previous travel experience
- Active Massachusetts RN license in hand at submission
- Pediatric experience required
- Must be comfortable caring for pediatric patients as part of the patient assignment.
3. Preferred Qualifications
- Meditech Expanse 6 experience (preferred, not required).
