CT Scan Technologist Position - Vineland, New Jersey

Job Overview

• Produce computerized tomography (CT) images of designated anatomical areas as ordered by a licensed physician.
• Follow established practices and procedures for CT imaging.

Schedule

• Every Monday: 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM
• Every other Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Holiday shifts every other holiday
• Return to Office (RTO) required no more than 3 days

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Experience & Education Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT specialty experience
• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology with training in Computerized Assisted Tomography required
• 1-2 years as a staff Radiologic Technologist preferred
• Previous CT experience preferred
• Emergency Room experience preferred

Certifications & Licensure

• New Jersey DEP license required
• ARRT certification required
• CT certification required or must be attained within 6 months of hire
• CPR certified
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• IV certification required within 90 days of hire

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential

Orientation & Onboarding

• Full orientation completion is mandatory; failure to complete results in immediate termination
• Orientation includes a virtual welcome meeting and online HealthStream modules to be completed by the first Monday
• In-person classes typically held Tuesday through Thursday at various locations; candidates must check HealthStream for location details on the day of class

Additional Requirements

• Compliance with background checks, drug screening, immunizations (including COVID-19, Hep B, Influenza, MMR, TdaP, Varicella), and various verifications (ARRT, NJDEP license, employment, education, etc.)
• Completion of core mandatory annual training and competency exams
