Job Details

Location: Santa Monica, California
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours
Weekly hours: 36
Contract length: 18 weeks
Start date: ASAP
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
On-call: Not required
Floating: May float to postpartum
First-time travelers: Not accepted
Local radius: 50 miles

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
FHM
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Fetal Heart monitoring experience
High Risk Pregnancy monitoring experience
C-section delivery experience
Vaginal delivery experience
Postpartum couplet care experience (newborn and maternal care)

Unit Information

Antepartum, labor/high-risk, and triage rooms
May support postpartum if needed
Experience with fetal heart monitoring, high-risk pregnancy monitoring, C-sections, and vaginal deliveries
May provide postpartum couplet care and newborn role in delivery

Additional Notes

RTO must be included at time of submission
Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager discretion
Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
Epic is used for charting
Navy blue scrubs for RNs
Parking is paid
