Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Portland, Oregon.
• 16-week assignment.
• 12-hour shifts: either 3:00–15:00 or 11:00–23:00.
• Primarily days or primarily nights, with advance notice for shift changes.
• Expected ratios: 1:1 to 1:3 couplets.
• High Risk OB experience is specifically noted.
• Position may float between units based on unit needs.
• On-call is required on scheduled shifts if cancelled.
• Weekends are required every other weekend.
• 48 hours are approved.
• Must have a vehicle for this assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oregon.
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience).
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Driver's License.
• NURSYS verification required.
• ACLS.
• BLS.
• PALS.
• NRP.
• EFM.
• IV Certification.
• NIH Stroke Certification.
• Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB).
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute.
• Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting.
• Employment application with at least the last 5 years of employment.
• Skills checklist required for the applicable unit.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Fit mask.
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap.
• Rubeola (Measles).
• Mumps.
• Rubella.
• Hepatitis B.
• Varicella.
• Drug testing.
• COVID documentation.
• Flu seasonal vaccination/documentation.
• RespSafety clearance.
• Background check.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM.
• HHS/OIG.
• Education verification.
• State-specific search requirements apply based on placement location.
• Float policy acknowledgement required.
