Travel/contract role in Toledo, Ohio
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:30–7:00
36 hours per week
13-week contract
700-bed facility
Work setting experience: Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department
Floating required within the Metro Region between Toledo, Flower, and Bay Park Hospitals, including mid-shift floating when needed

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
Registered Respiratory Therapist with 1 year of experience
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Experience working with Adult patients
Experience working with Geriatric patients
Experience in a Critical Care setting
Experience in a Pediatric ER/ED setting
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

High risk experience
Peds experience

Adult and pediatric acute care
7 adult ICUs with 16 beds each
General and critical care respiratory therapy
Medication delivery
Bronchopulmonary hygiene and hyperinflation therapy
Initiation, management, and weaning of invasive and non-invasive ventilation
Airway management and suction
Cuff and ETCO2 monitoring
Intubation assist and extubation
Maintenance of indwelling lines
Responding to rapid responses and emergency codes
CPR
Blood gas sampling and analysis
Specimen collection
Spontaneous breathing parameters
Assist in high risk delivery
Bronchoscopy care

The lab had good equipment and was in a new building

Cons

The schedule was 8 hours days the schedule had no flexibility. I used 1 sick day as provided in my contract and they immediately contacted my agency to complain
