House Supervisor

Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Rochester, New York
• 8-week assignment
• Start: ASAP
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• 36 hours per week
• Locals accepted if they live more than 75 miles away
• No float required
• Every other weekend coverage
• Unit accepts first-time travelers: No

Role Summary

• Covers the entire house to support staffing, manage staff, and address patient and visitor needs in real time
• Supports bed placement, patient movement, throughput, and key initiatives such as bedside handoff
• Coverage includes 12-hour shifts from 3p–7a Monday through Friday, plus 24-hour coverage on weekends and holidays

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• House Supervisor experience with at least 1 year of experience
• House Supervisor experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in Charge roles
• Experience with Epic
