Pediatric Stepdown RN

Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Madison, Wisconsin
13-week assignment
12-hour day or night shifts
Schedule includes Monday through Friday with every other weekend required

Unit Details

Mixed-acuity pediatric unit with general medical to stepdown/intermediate care patients
Common patient populations include neuro, diabetic, nephrology, spinal fusion, and other intermediate/general care cases
May care for patients with pulmonary lines, respiratory failure, tracheostomy, ventilator dependence, CPAP, and BiPAP

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
Pediatric Med Surg experience
Pediatric Cardiac Stepdown experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Experience with Epic

Additional Notes

Day shift: 7:00am–7:30pm
Night shift: 7:00pm–7:30am
