Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Driver's License
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Insulin drip experience
• Cardizem drip experience
• Heparin drip experience
• Amiodarone drip experience
• Orthopedic and general surgery care experience
• Orthopedics experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• Telemetry experience
• EPIC charting experience

Additional Job Details

• Must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• 1st time travelers accepted
• Responsible for reading and measuring telemetry strips
• Ratios: 5:1
• Unit size: 16 beds
• Patient types include telemetry, post-op surgical, ortho, and general
• Required to work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
• 16-hour NBO
• Billable overtime applies after 40 hours per week, and after 48 hours per week in a separate threshold noted in the source
