Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist

Overview

Outpatient hospital clinic setting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Based in the Women and Families Campus
6 sonographer exam rooms
8–12 cases daily
Monday–Friday, 8:30a–5p
No call, no weekends, no holidays
No float

Role Summary

Performs and/or assists with ultrasound procedures following radiologist protocols
Prepares and maintains equipment, checks patient preparation, and operates ultrasound equipment
Supports a high-risk obstetric specialty practice serving pregnant patients with complex or pregnancy-related conditions
The Fetal Center provides advanced prenatal ultrasound, fetal monitoring, genetic counseling, and maternal-fetal medicine services

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
RDMS-OB
Experience with high-risk obstetric ultrasound
Experience with maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) ultrasound
Experience with level 2 detailed anatomy ultrasounds
Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in Ultrasound
Experience with high-risk OB, MFM, or level 2 detailed anatomy ultrasounds

Additional Notes

BLS is preferred
Prior travel experience is not required
