Position Details

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical Neurology
• Shift: Includes weekend hours every other week (EOW)
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 (Day shift), 5:1 (Night shift)
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Meditech
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Licenses Required: Registered Nurse License
• Years of Experience Required: 2 years in an acute care facility specialty (Medical-Surgical Neuro)

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
• Experience in an acute care setting
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Current NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
