Orientation & Shift Information

Orientation includes a 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor.
Scrub color for RNs: all navy, all white, or a combination of navy and white.

Additional Information

Tobacco use is prohibited in all buildings, entrances, properties, and campus-designated parking areas.
Timekeeping instructions involve using a phone system with specific clock-in/out codes for various shift types and activities.

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
NICU experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
