Physical Therapist Travel Job - Independence, Missouri

Job Details

Unit Information

• Acute care beds: 285
• Inpatient rehab beds: 16
• Patient ratio: 12:1
• Unit staffing includes rehab tech support
• Equipment: Safe patient handling and standard rehab equipment
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 eight-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30), 1 weekend every 6 weeks (flexible off days if working weekend)
• Floating: May cover both acute care and rehab units
• On-call: Not required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Missouri
• Physical Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• HHCCA - De-escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting
• USP 800 Hazardous Drug Risk training
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Experience in a Rehabilitation setting

Job Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and treatments

Dress Code

• Eggplant colored scrubs
