Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology (Travel)

Location: Gainesville, Florida
Employment Type: Travel

Job Summary

Provide nursing care in an Interventional Radiology unit performing advanced procedures such as angiograms, stenting, embolization, thrombectomy, biopsies, and drainages.


Unit & Facility Highlights

  • Utilizes Meditech documentation system
  • Unit operates from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Equipped with advanced interventional radiology technology
  • Part of a full-service acute care center with comprehensive specialty services including cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, neurosciences, minimally-invasive surgery, women’s health, and wound therapy
  • Accredited Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center
  • Recognized for quality and specialty care by national organizations

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience with angiography, stenting, embolization, thrombectomy, biopsies, and drainages
  • Radiology experience
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
