Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel)

Location: Gadson, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
Schedule: Every other weekend required
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking a Travel RN for Medical-Surgical unit. Patient ratio is approximately 6 to 1.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Alabama
  • Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience within the last year
  • BLS certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

  • Travelers submitted without required information will be rejected
  • Must include home address and social security number on submissions

Notes for Candidates

  • Position requires night shift work with every other weekend coverage
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
  • Patient care involves a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred but not mandatory
