Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Travel Position
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information
- Unit Type: Respiratory Therapy (RRT)
- Number of Beds: 430
- Staff on Unit: 25
- Shift Staffing:
- Day Shift: 3-4 staff
- Night Shift: 3 staff
- Patient Load: Approximately 20-25 treatments per round
- Equipment Used: Oxygen, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, blood gas machines
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
Job Responsibilities & Environment
- Perform procedures including nebulizer treatments, BIPAP/CPAP management, ventilator support, and arterial blood gases
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Rotating weekends required
- On-call: Preferably one 24-hour shift every 5-6 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
- Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification

- Approximately 36 hours per week
