Registered Nurse (NICU) - Travel Assignment
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
Shift Details: Rotating weekends and holiday requirements
Unit Overview
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with 60 beds
- Patient-to-nurse ratio: 2-3:1
- No tech support available in the unit
- Equipment used: Philips Monitors
- Documentation systems: Meditech & Centricity Perinatal
- Floating policy: May float to comparable high-need areas
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Dress code: Navy, ceil blue, any shade of grey, or white scrubs; no long sleeves, watches, rings, or nail polish allowed
- Schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays
- Patient experience and unit-specific policies apply
