Unit Overview
- 45-bed medical unit
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Patient ratio: 4-5 patients per nurse on days and nights
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Cardiac experience
- ICU experience
- NIH certification
- Prior Meditech experience
Clinical Focus
- Cardiac drips and cardiac catheters
- Chest tube management
- Wound care
- TPN/lipids
Work Environment
- Team-oriented unit
- Positive attitude toward staff and providers
- New lift equipment
- Self-scheduling available
