Overview

• Travel assignment in Waycross, Georgia
• Unit: Operating Room
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 0645-1515, with on-call assignments after normal business hours
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• Hours per week: 40

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS
• ACLS
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• Ability to circulate

• 231-bed unit
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Staffing includes RN, CST, ORA, and Coordinator
• Equipment used: Stryker
• Documentation system: Meditech Expanse
• Floating is within Surgical Services departments

Clinical Scope

• OR circulator
• General, Ortho, Podiatry, OB/GYN, Urology, Ophthalmic, Spine, Bariatric, and ENDO surgical procedures

Additional Notes

• Facility-laundered green scrubs required
• Patient experience emphasis: AIDET and compassionate care
