Job Overview

• Contract role in Hawaii
• 13-week assignment
• 12-hour day or night shifts
• Schedule is 72 hours every 2 weeks

Clinical Setting

• 9-bed adult ICU
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2
• May increase to 1:3 or 1:4 during med/surg overflow
• Stable pediatric patients may occasionally be cared for; unstable pediatrics are transferred
• May float to other departments to assist without taking a patient assignment

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Hawaii
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• Experience working with Pediatric patients
• Pediatrics experience
• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS

Additional Notes

• Minimum of three nurses on each shift
• Charge nurse duties may be assigned
