Radiologic Technologist (Diagnostic Imaging) - Contract

Location: Herrin, Illinois
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Shift: To Be Determined (Weekend Midnights: Friday - Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Call: No call required; every weekend required
Work Environment: Solo work in X-ray; no OR or Fluoroscopy duties

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans
• Utilize PACS system correctly
• Assist with clerical and office duties to maintain department efficiency
• Verify MRI scan protocols with Radiologist
• Maintain IV/Contrast competency

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license in Illinois
• Associate's degree in Radiology
• Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT Certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Certification

Additional Certifications (Preferred or Required in Related Departments)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Note: These certifications are required in various hospital departments and may be relevant depending on assignment.

Other Information

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• No fluoroscopy or OR duties involved.
• Weekend work every week is mandatory.
