Interim L&D Manager
Overview
- Location: Des Moines, Iowa
- Schedule: Days, Monday–Friday
- Weekend/Holiday coverage: Weekends may be required based on team needs; holiday rotation is required
- Contract length: 26 weeks
- Unit areas: L&D, OBED, antepartum
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Antepartum experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Specialty-specific competency testing completed within 1 year
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year
- Resume, skills checklist, and 2 professional references required for submission
Onboarding Requirements
- COVID-19 vaccine documentation or declination/exemption
- 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start
- MMR documentation
- Fit test
- Hepatitis B documentation or declination
- 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
- Varicella documentation
- Physical/health statement from an exam within the last year
