Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Seattle, Washington
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 26 weeks
Role Details
- High Risk/High Volume L&D
- 4 ORs
- Functions as Baby Nurse during delivery and continues newborn care until transfer to postpartum
- Circulate in the role
- Float required to Post partum / Antepartum and may float to sister facilities that do Mother/Baby
- EPIC and electronic fetal monitoring experience are noted
- Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
- AWHONN Advanced
- AWHONN Intermediate
Schedule Notes
- Work every other weekend and holidays as needed
- Pre-approved time off is case by case
- Schedule is posted every 6 weeks and adjusted to unit needs
