Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Fishers, Indiana
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• First timers accepted
• Locals not accepted
• Charge pay offered

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Cannot start with a pending license

Preferred

• NIHSS

Unit Details

• Lone medsurg unit in a community hospital
• Receives patients from OR, ED, and ICU/PCU downgrades
• Average 8–12 admits per 24 hours
• Target ratio is 5:1 with charge out of staffing; flexing to 6:1 can occur

Float Scope

• May float to ICU/PCU or ED to take med-surg patients
• Float is not likely to occur, but is possible
