Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Seattle, Washington.
- Start date: ASAP.
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
- Shift: 4x12; day or night options listed.
- Weekend work required.
- Locals accepted.
- Floating within the hospital is required.
- No floating to sister hospitals.
- No block schedule accommodation unless the posting states otherwise.
- Pending license not accepted.
- RTO restriction: 7 days in November/December; may be over 1 holiday; must work 2 of 3 holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- 2 years of MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience.
- MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year.
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association.
- Experience with Epic.
- First-time travelers are accepted.
Preferred
- Previous travel experience.
- Medical ICU background.
- Comfort with end-of-life care.
Unit Details
- MICU with medical and oncology ICU patients.
- Patient population includes adult respiratory distress syndrome, multi system organ failure, septic shock, GI bleeding, complicated pregnancy, oncology, renal failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and transplant-related care.
- Focus on family-centered care.
- Ratio: 1:2.
- Total staffed beds: 637.
- Magnet and teaching center.

- Scrubs: any color; scrubs provided for OR personnel.
- Charting system: EPIC.
- Parking cost: $10.26 daily.
