MICU RN

Overview

Travel/contract RN role in New Haven, Connecticut.
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00.
36 hours per week.
Primarily SDU assignments with occasional ICU coverage if needed.
May float to PCU, other ICUs, and SRC campus as needed.
Every other weekend coverage required.
First-time travelers are accepted.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience
MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS

Preferred

Epic familiarity.
