Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Dyersburg, Tennessee
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call requirement
• Interview required prior to offer
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Tennessee
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with 5 years of experience
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP
• Experience with pediatric intubation
• Experience with neonatal resuscitation
• Experience with arterial blood sampling
• Ability to interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• Travel experience preferred

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care in a busy Respiratory Therapy department
• Care for patients across the lifespan, from neonates through geriatrics
• Perform intubations across the neonatal through geriatric patient population
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) procedures, including arterial puncture and analysis
• Perform all aspects of respiratory care based on patient needs and department standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide safe, effective patient care
