Job Opportunity: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MedSurg RN - Renal)

Location: Florence, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Position Details

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse (MedSurg RN with Renal focus)
  • Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (Days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
  • Patient Ratios: 1:6-7
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, including holiday rotation
  • On-call: Not required
  • Floating: Required to float within scope to other med/surg units if needed

Experience & Licensure Requirements

  • Years of Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not required (first-time travelers accepted)
  • Licensure: South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be active and in hand prior to start
  • Certifications Required:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC only (facility-specific)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - As required, AHA or ARC only
    • Other certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., TNCC, EFM) - check with recruiter/unit
