Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Location: Harris, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
Hours: 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week

Job Description

• Work in a medium-sized facility with a 16-bed Labor & Delivery unit.
• Provide nursing care across Labor & Delivery (L&D), Postpartum (P/P), Mother/Baby (M/B), and Nursery areas.
• Unit includes 4 birthing rooms and 7 postpartum rooms, with overflow capacity into a swing unit totaling 12 postpartum rooms.
• Basic fetal monitoring skills are required; advanced fetal monitoring skills are preferred but not mandatory.
• Weekend and holiday shifts as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Current New York RN license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (no declination accepted).

Additional Information

• Candidates must include all Return to Office (RTO) documentation with their submission.
• Interviews conducted by the unit manager.
• Seeking a well-rounded RN capable of covering multiple areas within the unit.
