Diagnostic Imaging Sonographer Job

Overview

Contract role in Hilo, Hawaii
13-week assignment
Variable shift schedule

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
Experience in an acute care setting
Vascular Technologist experience
ARDMS (AB), ARDMS (OB), or ARDMS (RVT)
BLS issued by the American Heart Association

Job Responsibilities

Perform ultrasound procedures across abdominal, gynecologic, obstetric, neonatal, superficial, and vascular applications
Perform procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative imaging

Schedule and Assignment Details

40-hour workweek with call as appropriate
Floating to other units or departments
No RTO will be granted in the first 13 weeks of the contract
Must arrive the Thursday before start for an employee health appointment on Friday

Work Environment

Uses Canon i700 equipment
Uses Meditech EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS

Dress Code

Personal scrubs or healthcare professional attire
