Acute Care Registered Nurse

Location: Quincy, California
Employment Type: Contract
Shift: Day shifts, three 12-hour shifts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in California
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• 1 year of Med Surg experience
• Acute Care experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS

Role Summary

• Provides patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborates with other healthcare disciplines to support effective patient care and desired outcomes
• Uses knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity in care delivery
• Contributes to quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques

• Administer treatments and medications
• Interpret diagnostic tests
• Formulate a plan of care
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers
• Provide education to patients and/or significant others
