Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical

Location: Duluth, Georgia
Specialty: Acute Surgery Unit (Med Surg RN)
Shift: 12-hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, varies)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Work in a very fast-paced acute surgical unit.
Daily patient discharge volume: 8-15 patients.
Patient admissions come from the Emergency Department (ED), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), or direct admits.
Support provided by an Admission, Discharge, Transfer (ADT) nurse to assist with patient flow.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Georgia.
Experience in medical/surgical nursing, preferably in an acute surgery unit.
Ability to manage a high patient turnover environment efficiently.

Additional Notes

No local candidates available within 50 miles, indicating potential relocation or travel opportunity.
Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
