Overview
- Travel RN role in Inpatient Rehab
- Location: Madison, Wisconsin
- Employment type: Travel
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Shift times: 6:30a–7:00p or 6:30p–7:00a
- Weekend/holiday rotation: every other weekend and holidays
- Call required: Yes
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Local candidates not accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- 1 year of rehabilitation experience within the last year
- Med Surg experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Med Surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience related to patient acuity
Unit Details
- Rehab department
- 49-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation unit
- High-acuity adult patient population requiring inpatient rehabilitation services
- Float scope: not currently required; may float to a satellite IRF facility within 20 minutes in the near future
Additional Notes
- The unit functions similarly to a medical surgical unit
- Nurses are expected to assist CNAs and answer call lights for patient safety
