Overview

• Travel assignment in Kingwood, Texas
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Unit: STICU
• 10-bed unit on the 1st floor of the Main building

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• STICU - Surgical Trauma Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
• STICU - Surgical Trauma Intensive Care experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Critical Care training
• Pressor medication management
• Experience with arterial lines
• Critical drip management

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical drip management
• Art line

Unit Details

• Staffed with 28 total staff
• Day shift: 1 CNC and 5 nurses
• Night shift: 1 CNC and 5 nurses
• Patient ratio: 1:2
• Equipment includes CRRT, vents, MTP, Hemospheres, Art line, and TTM
• Typical procedures include bronchoscopy and CVC and Art line insertion

Floating

• May float to MICU, TICU, and ICC

Schedule

• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period

• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
• Must follow attendance policy and schedule commitments
