Overview

Travel RN position in Rockport, Maine
Med-surg floor
45-bed unit
36 hours per week
Every other weekend
13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

PALS
Travel experience

Unit Details

Patient ratio: 1:5 on days, 1:6 on nights
Patient population includes medical-surgical, orthopedic, general surgery, and urology
Common diagnoses include CHF, COPD, and PNA
Pediatric patients may be admitted to the general floor; PALS is needed to care for them

Pros

This hospital is hands down the least toxic hospital I have ever had the privilege of working. I absolutely love the people I work with. Everyone I come into contact with likes what they do and they do it with passion. It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s close.
