Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS
AWHONN
BLS
NRP
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
Experience working with Neonate patients
Experience working with High Risk patients
Immediate newborn care experience

Preferred Experience

High-risk experience
Immediate newborn care experience
Circulating experience

Unit Details

16-bed Labor and Delivery unit
Patient ratios: 1:1 and 1:2
Day and night shifts include charge nurse, PCT, CST, and RN
Floating may include MFMU, MOMB, and NICU

Clinical Setting

Procedures include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-hyst
Equipment includes Baxter pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring
EMR used: Cerner and Fetal ink

Additional Notes

Weekends and on-call are not required, but may be available upon approval
Scrubs are provided
