Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department.
Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff.
The facility is a Joint Commission Accredited hospital with specialized certifications including Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Certified Primary Stroke Center.
The hospital has 199 beds and offers a variety of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification
Current CPI certification
Current PALS certification
Current NIHSS certification

Additional Information

The position is year-round with opportunities to work in a region known for outdoor recreation including hiking, biking, and national parks.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
