Job Overview

• Location: Weatherford, Texas

• Shift: Weekend rotating

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Meditech

Unit Details

• Med/Surg and Med/Tele patient care
• Floating as needed
• No call required

Common Unit Procedures

• Initiating IVs
• NG tube care
• Foley catheter care
• Dressing changes
• ADLs

Work Environment

• Must be competent in patient experience, AIDET, bedside reporting, hourly rounding, and service recovery

Dress Code

• Navy blue scrubs with Med City embroidery; proof of purchase required
• No artificial nails, gel, or similar enhancements
• Hair must be neat and clean
• Visible piercings other than ears are not allowed
• Tattoos should be covered whenever possible
