Registered Nurse (RN) - Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
Location: La Porte, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in a fast-paced Intermediate Care Unit with 30 beds
- Patient ratio: 4 or 5 patients per nurse
- Shift: Days, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- No on-call requirements
- Floating required; may need to float to Med/Surg units
- Scrub color: Navy blue
- EMR system: Cerner experience preferred but not required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of Intermediate Care experience within the last year
- Minimum 1 year of Critical Care experience
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
Additional Information
- Two-week cancellation notice with no penalty
- No block scheduling option
- Approved orientation dates depend on years of experience
