Unit: T3 Cardio
Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 4-5 patients
Patient population includes post-op cardiac cath patients, stroke, CHF, A-fib, arrhythmias, and med-surg cardiac cases
Equipment includes Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, ceiling and portable Hoyer lifts, portable cardiac monitors, defibrillators for transport, and EKG machines
Electronic Health Records: Omnicell, EPIC

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU), with at least 1 year of recent Cardiac PCU experience
Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Experience in telemetry monitoring and cardiology nursing
Proficient in post-operative cardiac catheterization care
Skilled in cardiac drip titration and management of dysrhythmias
