Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• Nights
• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Start time: 6:45 AM
• Shift options may include 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, with 10-hour shifts preferred

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• At least 2 years of operating room experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification
• Scrubbing experience

Unit Details

• Operating room with 9 suites, including 1 cardiac suite
• Average daily case volume: 25-30
• Common cases include orthopedics, neuro, spine, general surgery, gynecology, ENT, urology, robotics, and trauma

Call Requirements

• 2-3 weeknights in a 6-week rotation
• Weekend call from Friday evening through Monday morning
• Holiday call as needed
• 30-minute call response time

Orientation

• Orientation length depends on experience and may range from 3 days to 2 weeks

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are accepted if they meet the 2-year operating room experience requirement
• No floating required
• Scrubs are provided
