Respiratory Therapist

Overview

Registry allied health role in Morristown, New Jersey
Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
13-week assignment
34.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care with emphasis on pulmonary function testing and CPAP initiation
Support durable medical equipment needs such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers
Assist with inhaler training and patient setup for DME equipment
Work closely with physicians

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in New Jersey
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
5 years of Registered Respiratory Therapist experience
1 year of hospital or physician office experience
BLS
ACLS

Preferred Experience

NICU/PICU experience
Or at least 5 years of respiratory therapy experience

Schedule and Assignment Details

Holidays required
No on-call requirement
Weekend coverage preferred every other weekend, with a minimum of 1 full weekend per month
May float to other facilities on a PRN basis
