RN Oncology Outpatient

Overview

• Location: Raleigh, North Carolina

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ONS/ONCC
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Oncology (2 years of experience)
• Oncology experience within the last year
• Experience in an outpatient setting
• Infusion experience

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process in a hospital setting
• Coordinate and deliver patient care
• Perform bedside point-of-care testing as needed
• Support patient and family education and emotional support
• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy infusions, blood products, IV iron, fluids, electrolytes, port lab draws, and injections

Preferred Education

• BSN or MSN

Schedule Notes

• No weekends, holidays, or on-call
