RN Oncology Outpatient
Overview
- Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
- Specialty: Outpatient oncology infusion
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Shift: Days
- Hours: 40 per week
- Contract length: 26 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ONS/ONCC
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Oncology (2 years of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- Experience in an outpatient setting
- Infusion experience
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care using the nursing process in a hospital setting
- Coordinate and deliver patient care
- Perform bedside point-of-care testing as needed
- Support patient and family education and emotional support
- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy infusions, blood products, IV iron, fluids, electrolytes, port lab draws, and injections
Preferred Education
- BSN or MSN
Schedule Notes
