Job Overview

Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Weekly hours: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Setting: Short-term acute care, Level III trauma center, teaching hospital

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule and Assignment Details

Weekend requirement: every other weekend
Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including between like units
First-time travelers accepted
Travel pairs are not accepted
Local candidates are not accepted within a 50-mile radius of the main campus
Block scheduling may be accommodated at the manager’s discretion

Additional Notes

Ratios: 1:4–5
Guaranteed hours apply after the call-off policy threshold is met
Return-to-travel policy applies after 1 year away
The system has a 2-contract limit; after extending once, the traveler must be away for 6 months before returning
