Pharmacist Inpatient - Travel/Contract Position

Location: Wichita Falls, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (12:00 PM to 10:30 PM)
• Schedule: Weekdays with variable weekends required
• Start Date Preferred: July 27

Required Qualifications

• Valid Clinical Pharmacist license in Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of Clinical Pharmacist experience within the last year
• Experience in an inpatient setting

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Background Check: Must be completed within 1 year of start, including SS Trace, County searches (7 years), Nationwide, and Sex Offender checks; updated annually
• Federal Exclusions Checks: EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG required within 30 days of start
• Identification: Government-issued photo ID required
• Employment Eligibility: I9 or Attestation and E-Verify or Attestation required
• Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start; must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
• Drug Testing: Negative 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start; plan for completion within 72 hours of contract signing required
• Immunizations and Health Requirements (must be current or have approved exemptions):

  • TDAP vaccine within 10 years
  • Negative TB test (2-step PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot) within 1 year or chest x-ray within 5 years if positive PPD
  • Rubeola (Measles): 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
  • Mumps: 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
  • Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
  • Hepatitis B: Positive titer, series of 3, or declination accepted
  • Varicella: 2 vaccines, positive titer, or history of chickenpox
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1 - May 31) or approved medical/religious exemption
  • COVID-19 vaccination documentation required
• Orientation and Facility-Specific Documents: Must complete all required facility-specific forms and orientation prior to start
• References: 2 references required within 3 years of start
• Employment Application: Resume or application copy required
• Skills Checklist: Must be updated annually

• This position requires acute/inpatient pharmacy experience and residency training.
• Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
