Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Carbondale, Illinois
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours/week
Shift: Day shift; start time varies between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
Shift Length: 8 or 10 hours
On-call: Yes

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Illinois
Interventional Radiology Technologist (3 years of experience)
Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (R)
IEMA
BLS
Associate degree
Cath Lab Technologist experience

Schedule / Work Expectations

No weekend requirement at this time
On-call may be up to 10 days per month when fully staffed; currently about 2 days per week
May help with general x-ray when no interventional radiology procedures are being performed

Role Details

Imaging position; not an RN
Performs diagnostic radiographic exams and interventional procedures
Uses IV and contrast competency
Cleans, inspects, and stocks imaging equipment and rooms
