Schedule

12-hour day/night rotation
36 hours per week
Weekends as scheduled

Required Qualifications

Active BLS certification
NIHSS certification
Must submit a copy of an unexpired driver’s license
Licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission

Unit Details

30 beds
Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6/7
One charge RN on the floor with an assignment
PCTs are on the unit
Telemetry is monitored remotely by monitor techs
No ventilators; intermittent BiPAP used

Clinical Responsibilities

May titrate heparin drips based on aPTT results

Floating as needed based on census
External traveler floats first
