Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Unit: 24-bed private room inpatient medical telemetry unit
Patient Population: Adult medical patients
Patient-to-Nurse Ratio: Approximately 4-5 patients per RN
EMR System: EPIC
Job Details
- Rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights; rotation every other week (EOW) and day rotate positions rotate a couple of shifts per month
- Must be able to read cardiac telemetry strips
- Floating to other units may be required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 3 years of telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
